In Loving Memory of Chipper Jones Smith

Our beloved Chipper, passed away just shy of his 14th birthday.

He leaves behind his sister, Grace, a lifetime of stolen snacks, and a home that feels much quieter without him. As a puppy, he was a good boy. As he got older, he became my cranky old man, growling at almost anyone who touched him except me, loving food more than anything, and always looking for his next opportunity to steal a bite. His bark was definitely worse than his bite.

He wasn’t always easy, but he was deeply loved. Stubborn, loud, food-obsessed, and completely himself, he held a special place in my family's heart.

His passing was sudden and heartbreaking. Though gone too soon, we will remember him for his personality, his attitude, and the love we shared.

Run free, my cranky old man. I love you, dearly.
